Volunteers Needed: The Salvation Army Tweed will be starting their 2017 Christmas Kettle drive on November 24 with two locations in Tweed.  The kettles will be operating on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at Tim Horton’s Tweed and Tweed Valu-mart right up to Christmas as well as at Tim Horton’s Madoc on Saturdays in December.  Call Jay at 613.478.3375.

Nov. 18, 4:30 pm. at Eastminster United Church, Belleville: Time & Talent Dinner with Live & Silent Auction.  Tickets for multi-course dinner: $20.00.  Doors open and silent auction begins at 4:30 pm. dinner served at 6:00 pm.  Silent auction ends and live auction begins at 7:00 pm.  Auctioneers David McMaster and Frank Hamper.  More information 613-969-5212.

Nov. 19, Thomasburg United Church’s 161 Anniversary with guest, the Dr. Pamela Holmes (Ph.D.), formerly: instructor in theology at Queen’s University, currently: student minister at Rednersville-Albury.  Light refreshments to follow.
